FAQs

Do the jeans run true to size?

It depends on the style. The Torque Series Regular Fit runs true to size. The Motion Series Slim Fit currently runs approximately one inch smaller in the waist than a standard size, so we recommend sizing up. If you're unsure, check our Size Guide or contact us and we'll help you find the right fit.

I'm unsure if these will fit, can I get more help?

Absolutely, if the size table and guide doesn't answer all your questions please feel free to send us an enquiry through the Contact Us page and we will get back to you as soon as possible.  We are more than happy to assist and give you confidence in the style or size you'd like more confirmation on.

What's the difference between the Motion Series and Torque Series?

Both styles use our high-tech protective fabrics and include SAS-TEC certified armour, so protection is at the core of both. The difference is in the fit and denim. The Motion Series Slim Fit uses a premium stretch denim for a more tailored look and unrestricted movement. The Torque Series Regular Fit uses a heavier-duty protective denim with a more relaxed cut, focused on maximum protection. If you're after a slim everyday look, go Motion Series. If you want a more traditional fit with the toughest possible fabric, go Torque Series.

What is MotoCAP?

They are an independent test body who test motorcycle gear and give them a star rating based on Australia and New Zealand's roads.  For further information please refer to the following link on our website https://donandstav.com/pages/motocap or visit their https://motocap.com.au/ for more.

How do I wash them?

Remove the knee and hip armour before washing. The armour simply pulls out and can be set aside. The jeans themselves can be washed as you would any regular pair of denim.

How do I fit the armour?

The knee armour comes in a pouch and slots into an internal pocket on each leg. It can be positioned to your preferred height and secured in place with the internal Velcro system. The hip armour fits into pockets on each side.

Can I buy replacement armour?

Yes. Our SAS-TEC knee and hip armour is available to purchase separately in the Armour section of the store.

How do I know when my order is processed and shipped?

Once your order is dispatched you will receive an email with your tracking number. We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours of receipt, Monday to Friday, excluding Brisbane public holidays.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to over 25 countries worldwide. Standard shipping is free on all international orders except the United States. US customers will see shipping costs calculated at checkout. Customs duties and taxes may apply depending on your country and are the responsibility of the customer on delivery.

I'm a US customer — why is there a duty fee at checkout?

US customs law requires import duties to be paid on international goods entering the United States. Rather than have these show up as a surprise charge at your door, we collect them upfront at checkout via our customs partner Zonos.

We know it adds to the cost of your order. We'd rather be straight with you about it than hide it in the price.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Estimated delivery times via Australia Post:

Australia: 2 to 8 business days
New Zealand: 6 to 10 business days
United States: 10 to 20 business days
Asia and Pacific: 6 to 15 business days
UK and Europe: 10 to 20 business days
Rest of world: 10 to 20 business days

Timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to carrier delays, customs processing, or factors outside our control.

What if my size is sold out?

We restock periodically, so it's worth checking back. If you want to be notified when a size comes back in, feel free to send us a message through the Contact Us page and we'll let you know as soon as it's available.

How can I track my online order?
